Tuokpe Ajuyah has been the Head of ESG and Impact Investments at Crewcial Partners since 2021. She oversees the firm’s efforts to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into its investment advisory practice. Her work impacts over $40 billion of assets under advisory where she advocates for an engagement approach that ensures that both asset managers and asset owners understand the value that comes from ESG integration into investment practices.
Prior to Crewcial Partners, Tuokpe was on the investment team at Soros Fund Management. As the second hire on the firm’s newly created Impact Strategy group, her work focused on designing and executing the firm’s strategy for ESG integration across the entire investment portfolio. She has also formerly held various finance, investment and strategy roles at Bridgewater Associates, Credit Suisse, Microsoft Corporation, and Twinings Ovaltine. Tuokpe holds a BBA in Finance from Howard University, an MSc in Public Policy from University College London, and an MBA (Investments and Sustainability specializations) from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
Tuokpe is very passionate about engaging in her community. She is currently the treasurer of the Parent-Teacher Association for her daughters’ school. She is also a Stroke & Turn New Jersey Swimming Official. Further, she is an advisor of the Duke University Fuqua Sustainable Impact Student Investment Fund (FSISIF). She lives in NY Metro area with her husband and their three children. When she is not actively steeped in her work on sustainable investing, she can be found hosting local events aimed at bringing members of her community together.
