On November 2nd, 2021, Vanessa L. Gibson was elected to be the 14th Bronx Borough President to serve the over 1.4 million residents and families that call the Bronx home. A native New Yorker, Ms. Gibson has successfully navigated through her political career, rising through the ranks of the New York City political landscape. Having experiences such as serving in the NYS Assembly and NYC Council, Ms. Gibson has successfully represented her constituents and put their needs in the forefront of her policy work. This is no different in her current role, as Ms. Gibson is dedicated to improving the communities she represents for the present and future Bronxites. Undoubtedly,the Bronx’s best days are ahead with Ms. Gibson as the borough president.
