Jules B. Kroll is the executive chair and co-founder of K2 Integrity. He is the founder of and serves on the board of Kroll Bond Rating Agency, Inc., and is a member of the board of directors of cybersecurity firm BlueVoyant.
The acknowledged pioneer of the modern investigations, intelligence, and corporate security industry, Jules established Kroll Associates Inc. in 1972. By employing former prosecutors, law enforcement officials, journalists, and academics who used sophisticated fact-finding techniques to address decision-makers’ need for accurate information, Jules established investigations and risk consulting as indispensable corporate services. In 2004, Jules sold Kroll Inc. to Marsh & McLennan Companies.
Jules currently serves as chair of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice Foundation and as a Cornell presidential councilor and former trustee. Jules is also a former member of the Board of Regents of Georgetown University and served as chair of the Georgetown Law Center Board of Visitors.
Invested in diversity and inclusion from an early age, in 1962 Jules led the successful effort to remove the “white, Christian only” clauses from all fraternities at Cornell. His drive to make diversity a priority has continued through his business and philanthropic activities. During his time serving on the board of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice Foundation, for example, Jules has partnered with President Karol Mason to substantially expand the racial profile of the university’s board and led the successful effort to hire Black-owned firms to manage the foundation’s endowment.
