Kori Davis Porter

Kori Davis Porter is Senior Vice President, Head of Business Operations at the National Basketball Association. Prior to her current role, she was Senior Vice President, Content and Business Operations. She currently oversees and manages business operations and production management processes for the Global Partnerships & Media department, including budgets, resources, and business planning.

Davis Porter serves on various internal engagement committees at the NBA including the role of Executive Champion for the NBA’s Black employee resource group, Dream in Color, Social Justice Task Force, NBA Women’s Network, and the NBA
ASCEND Sponsorship Program.

She has held many roles during her 30-year tenure with the NBA. She served as Senior Director, Original Production, where she managed and executed the production and delivery of NBA Entertainment’s original programming, including content produced for ABC, ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV. She also previously worked on NBA Inside Stuff in a variety of roles including Director, Production; Senior Producer; Show Producer/Assistant Director; and Associate Producer.

Davis Porter has earned several awards for her work on various projects including a 2013 Sports Emmy Award for the NBA TV documentary The Doctor, and a 2010 Peabody Award for her Supervising Producer role on the film Once Brothers for ESPN Films “30 for 30” series.

Prior to joining the NBA, she worked for Harpo, Inc. as a Researcher for The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Davis Porter holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications and Sociology from the University of Michigan, and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
