Michael Richardson is the Vice President of North America Distribution at Henry Schein Inc., a role he has held since 2009. In this capacity, Michael oversees the operations of nine distribution centers across North America, managing a workforce of over 1,500 Team Schein Members servicing dental and medical customers.
This team includes a Large Customer dedicated group, and a Process Improvement and Industrial Engineering team, which highlights his focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
Michael’s career at Henry Schein Inc. began in 2008 when he was appointed Vice President of US West and Canada Distribution. His success in this role paved the way for his current position, where his strategic vision and operational expertise have been instrumental in driving the company’s distribution network.
Before joining Henry Schein Inc., Michael amassed significant experience in the electronics distribution industry. From 1992 to 2008, he served as General Manager of North America Component Distribution at Arrow Electronics. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of the Northern California Distribution Center at Lex Electronics.
Michael’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Hayward. He is also affiliated with HALI, reflecting his active involvement in professional networks.
