Mickael Dada Amos is the Chief Financial Officer at Rosecliff Ventures responsible for managing the firm’s accounting and finance department, including maintaining internal control systems, accounting policies and procedures. In addition, he leads the preparation of the financial statements and tax and regulatory filings and oversees cash management and investment portfolio performance reporting.
Prior to joining Rosecliff, Mickael was Fund Controller at Kuramo Capital Management, a multi-asset class manager serving institutional investors looking to invest in Sub-Saharan Africa. Mickael started his career at PwC in the Investment Management Tax group where he assisted alternative asset managers to meet their U.S. tax reporting obligations. A keen interest in his clients’ transactions led him to take a broader view of the asset management industry finally transitioning from public to private in 2016.
Outside of work, Mickael loves investing in the stock market, exploring real estate opportunities and international travel. In the last five years, he visited South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and East Africa.
Born in Cotonou, Benin, Mickael is fluent in French. He earned a B.S. in Banking & Finance in Benin graduating Magna Cum Laude and his M.S. in Accountancy (MSA) from Wake Forest University’s School of Business on a full academic scholarship. Mickael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the State of New York, and is currently pursuing the CFA designation.
