Natalee Graham is a Managing Director and Head of Volcker Compliance and Americas Treasury Department Compliance in Mizuho Americas, LLC’s Compliance Department with over 20 years of industry experience. Natalee leads the Volcker Rule Compliance team for the Americas, acts as the Volcker subject matter expert to the Tokyo based head office and foreign affiliates and provides advisory support for the Americas Treasury Department business line.

In her current role, Ms. Graham provides advisory guidance to members of the trading, sales, and capital markets businesses as well as other support functions across a range of topics. She previously provided advisory support for the Fixed Income business line and acted as Regulatory liaison and strategist for the broker dealer. Ms. Graham handled numerous regulatory requests, reviews and examinations from a variety of exchanges, state and governmental regulatory bodies as well as self-regulatory organizations.

Prior to Mizuho, Natalee was Vice President and Compliance Officer at Nomura Securities Inc. covering the Fixed Income and Futures business lines. Previous experience includes Legal Consultant to the Lehman Trustee, James Giddens in connection with the liquidation of Lehman Brothers Inc. (the broker dealer) and Assistant Vice President at Barclays. She also held various positions at Lehman Brothers Inc. including regulatory specialist in the Regulatory Law Group and Assistant Vice President in the Fixed Income Compliance Division.

Ms. Graham is the co-founder and advisor, formerly co-chair, for the Mizuho African Descent Employees (“MADE”) Network, and a member of the Mizuho Women’s Network (“M-WIN”) employee resource groups at Mizuho. She was awarded the Mizuho Impact Award in November 2023. She was a 2019 finalist for the Markets Media Women in Finance Rising Star and Excellence in Leadership Awards and a 2020 finalist for the Compliance award.

She received the Mizuho President’s Award in 2016 and was a member of the Mizuho Securities Future Leaders Development Program hosted between New York and Tokyo for a small group of professionals from across Mizuho’s global operations.

Ms. Graham sits on the New York Advisory Board of the Posse Foundation. Ms. Graham holds a BA from Brandeis University and a JD from New York Law School and is admitted to the New York State Bar. She is also fluent in Spanish.
