Sandra Appiah Babu-Boateng is an award-winning media entrepreneur, visionary thought leader, and trusted advisor to corporations on building inclusive workspaces and maximizing their talent potential. Recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Sandra has dedicated her career to amplifying Black voices, elevating innovators, and empowering the next generation of change-makers.

As the co-founder of PanaGenius, the leading Afro-Diaspora digital media company reaching a global audience of over 50 million, Sandra has built authoritative platforms that connect, inform, and inspire underrepresented voices. She is also the creator of BlackStars Experience, the nation’s premier cross-industry conference and awards dedicated to celebrating Black talent and leadership. Each year, BlackStars convenes over 2,000 industry leaders, corporate executives, and allies to exchange ideas, build networks, and foster transformative collaboration.

In addition to her media work, Sandra collaborates with corporations to develop strategies that amplify their thought leadership, attract top talent, and foster inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.

A dynamic leader at the intersection of media, culture, and corporate innovation, Sandra is passionate about unlocking opportunities that fuel growth, equity, and excellence for all. She works with financial institutions to bring more African and Caribbean businesses into the US financial markets.

Sandra is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and and has been named into the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) List. In 2024, she was honored by the City of NYC for her impact and contributions.

Sandra obtained a Master’s in Global Business Administration from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s in Film and TV from Syracuse University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She resides in Connecticut with her husband and their three children.
