Lester McPherson is a Director at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he leads the ProServe Partner and Delivery organization, a global business where the next era of enterprise transformation is won not by adding people, but by how delivery, partners, and agentic AI work as one. He has built an operating model that develops delivery capability, extends it through partners, and multiplies it with AI for the world’s largest enterprises.
Under his leadership, partner-delivered revenue has more than doubled year over year, as customers migrate and transform faster by working with AWS Professional Services and partners together. Lester has made the AI-Driven Development Life Cycle (AI-DLC) and an agentic delivery workforce the connective thread across his teams, helping the world’s largest enterprises, across telecommunications, healthcare, financial services, and energy, turn their cloud and AI investment into measurable business outcomes.
With over 20 years leading large-scale transformations, Lester operates at the intersection of technical depth, partner strategy, and go-to-market execution, and is known for building durable, high-performing teams through periods of significant change. His conviction is simple: the teams that reach a true production bar with AI first will deliver the fastest, most durable outcomes for customers.
Lester earned his MBA and MS in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A passionate advocate for STEM education and diversity in technology, he actively supports organizations advancing cultural inclusion and equitable access, including the First Tee and the Amazon Black Employee Network.
