Innocent Obi is a Managing Director at Accenture where he is the North America Commercial Director lead for the firm’s CMT (Communication, Mobility and Telecommunication) industry group.
He also spends most of his time working with Accenture’s largest clients in the Bay Area on various commercial transactions and issues. Prior to his relocation to California in 2020, Innocent was in Japan where he was the Commercial Director lead for Accenture’s Asia Pacific business working with several technology and financial services clients.
Prior to joining Accenture, Innocent was a Director at PwC’s advisory practice. He also served as an assistant general counsel at UnitedHealth Group.
Innocent is the current NABA San Francisco Chapter President where he has partnered with Bay Area corporate sponsors and partners to build a robust and active professional and student membership. He was named the 2024 NABA Western Region’s “President of the year” at the National Convention. He also serves as an advisory board member at the Center for Financial Reporting and Management (CFRM) at the UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
In addition, Innocent was a prior board member of the Urban League of Greater Hartford, Connecticut and the Tokyo American Club (TAC) in Japan.
He attended the University of Connecticut (UCONN) Law School; University of North Florida, Coggin School of Business; and Edward Waters University, a HBCU.
