Ron Taylor is Executive Vice President and Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the US. In this role, Ron leads Natixis IM’s US DEI activities and programs, and he serves as a resource for our affiliates in the region to support their DEI efforts.
Ron has 20 years of experience leading DEI programs, primarily in the financial services industry. He joined the firm from Mizuho Americas, where he served as Managing Director, Head of Diversity and Inclusion. He has also worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Deutsche Bank, and KPMG.
Ron maintains an active presence in financial industry forums converging on DEI matters and holds a seat on both the Investment Company Institute (ICI) and the Money Management Institute (MMI) diversity and inclusion committees. He also serves as Chair of Genesys Works NYC, an organization focused on matching high school seniors from underserved communities to internship opportunities in financial services; is a Board of Advisors member for the Bronx Community College; and sits on the board for Children’s Wish International (CWI). Ron is the recipient of a 2022 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leaders Award from the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) and was named a Champion of Diversity by Diversity Global Magazine in 2021. He is a Lifetime Member of the National Association of Black Accountants.
Ron earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business management from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and he holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
