Pamela Maynard is Chief AI Transformation Officer for Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS). She leads teams that apply Microsoft’s AI portfolio to drive internal transformation and accelerate customers’ AI adoption, sharing best practices from Microsoft’s own experience as Customer Zero.
Previously, Pam was CEO of Avanade, the leading digital innovator in the Microsoft ecosystem, where she led a global team of 60,000+ professionals. She has extensive experience helping organizations rethink operations, empower employees, and enhance customer experience through technology.
Pam serves on the boards of the Royal Horticultural Society and Junior Achievement Worldwide. She has been recognized among the Powerlist Top 10, British Vogue’s 25 Most Influential Women in the UK, as Black British Businessperson of the Year.
Earlier this year, Pamela was recognised in the King’s 2026 New Year Honours List with the award of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to Business and Technology. Most recently she also received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BTA awards 2026
